“Intorno alle origini” is a collective artistic work developed on the concept of constellation. The ephemeral order of shining points conjunction expresses a quantum of energy greater than the sum of its parts: it is like the extraction of a sense from the set of fragments, frees the creative force of aesthetic forms. The constellation builds a force field, where the single objects transcend, and freely realizes a Gestalt that agrees with our request for meaning. The same chaotic set of stars inspires the desire for meaning: this is why we see an Order in the universe. Which we call “beauty”.

The Swiss theologian Hans Urs von Balthasar called “das Ganze im Fragment” the fragment that is connected with the whole and contains the whole, the perception of which gives rise to the sense of beauty: is it not perhaps the search for a beauty that has not yet been completed to create that tension towards what will no longer be foreign? When we talk about energy that arises from the union of those luminous points, we mean precisely the invisible forces that push the otherwise orphaned and senseless bodies to unite; yet we cannot say anything about their origin: we can only listen to our perception in front of that set of fragments, tendencies, precociously worn spheres, which define a shape.

We imagine them suspended in nothingness, floating in the void, that mind emptiness in the absence of universal laws, which describes the condition of the human desire for knowledge. Here is the representation of those fragments created by Luca Serasini, discs like stars and arrows that will connect them to “order” everything into constellations; here is the suspension rendered by the magmatic flow of my “stretched” piano. A collaboration, ours, free from conventions, in which we listen to pure form… whose origin escapes us.

“Intorno alle origini” è un lavoro artistico collettivo sviluppato sul concetto della costellazione. L’ordine effimero della congiunzione dei punti splendenti, esprime un quantum di energia superiore alla somma delle sue parti: è come se, l’estrazione di un senso dall’insieme dei frammenti , liberasse la forza creatrice delle forme estetiche.  La costellazione va a costruire un campo di forze, entro il quale i singoli oggetti si trascendono, e realizza liberamente una Gestalt che si accorda con la nostra richiesta di senso. Lo stesso insieme caotico delle stelle ispira il desiderio di senso: è per questo che vediamo un Ordine nell’universo. Che chiamiamo “bellezza”.

Il teologo svizzero Hans Urs von Balthasar chiamò “das Ganze im Fragment” il frammento che è connesso con il tutto e contiene il tutto, la cui percezione origina il senso del bello: non è forse la ricerca di una bellezza non ancora compiuta a creare quella tensione verso ciò che estraneo non sarà più? Quando parliamo di energia che nasce dall’unione di quei punti luminosi, intendiamo proprio le forze invisibili che spingono i corpi, altrimenti orfani e insensati, ad unirsi; eppure non possiamo dire niente intorno alla loro origine: possiamo solo ascoltare la nostra percezione di fronte a quell’insieme di frammenti, tendenze, sfere precocemente logorate, che vanno a definire una forma.

Li immaginiamo sospesi nel nulla, galleggianti nel vuoto, quel vuoto della mente in assenza di leggi universali, che descrive la condizione del desiderio umano di conoscenza. Ecco la rappresentazione di quei frammenti creata da Luca Serasini, dischi come stelle e frecce che le collegheranno per “ordinare” il tutto in costellazioni; ecco la sospensione resa dal flusso magmatico del mio pianoforte “stretch-ato”. Una collaborazione, la nostra, libera da convenzioni, in cui restiamo in ascolto di pure forme… la cui origine ci sfugge.
