Exactly one year after the beginning of theMarconisti project, I present in this exhibition the new developments: starting from the Gabbro stone I have created 3 other sculptures and a wall sculpture entitled “Isola”. Other stones, this time from the river, smooth, flat, seemed perfect for the sculptures “the listeners” where, together with the ladders, the radio operators wait (or listen) to messages from the ether. A large wooden staircase is placed in the center of the space. This work, entitled “The Infinite Staircase” (a tribute to Brancusi) is my first ever work with wood. And it was great to work with… The ‘pop’ base will begin, together with the related collages, a new development for the bases of the stairs: not only stones but also colored polyhedra that I see as enlargements of mineral crystals.
Finally, among the other works present, including watercolors and pastels, “red desert”, of quite large dimensions, represents my desire to make, for this project, a large land art installation…
We’ll see how it turns out over time…

Ad un anno esatto dell’inizio del progetto theMarconisti presento in questa eposizione i nuovi sviluppi: partendo dalla pietra di Gabbro ho relizzato altre 3 sculture e una da parete dal titolo “Isola”. Altre pietre, questa volte di fiume, levigate, piatte, mi sono sembrate perfette per le sculture “gli ascoltatori” dove insieme alle scale, i marconisti attendono (o ascoltano) i messaggi dall’etere.
Una grande scala in legno è posta al centro dello spazio. Questo lavoro, dal titolo “la scala infinita” (omaggio a Brancusi) è in assoluto il mio primo lavoro con il legno. Ed è stato bellissimo lavorarlo…
La base ‘pop’ inizierà, insieme ai relativi collages, un nuovo sviluppo per le basi delle scale: non solo pietre ma anche poliedri colorati che vedo come ingrandimenti di cristalli minerali.
Infine, tra gli altri lavori presenti, tra cui acquerelli e pastelli, “deserto rosso”, di dimensioni abbastabza grandi, rappresenta il mio desiderio di fare, per questo progetto, una grande installazione di land art…
Vedremo col tempo come andrà a finire…
